It’s time to talk ‘me time’
Is staying in the new going out? This summer the new trend is for some indulgent ‘you’ time. Just snuggle up on the sofa, put your favourite film on, your phone on silent and treat yourself to the pleasure of a new Magnum tub. Sounds good right? Well to get under the skin of the new craze sweeping the sofas of Britain this summer, we took a few minutes to speak to Carrie Harwood of WishWishWish. The 27-year old food, fashion and travel blogger told us about her perfect night in, eating ice cream for breakfast and chocolatey adventures abroad. Mmmmm.
Nothing beats curling up on the sofa after a long week. What does your perfect night in look like?
I’m a bit of a homebody, so I’m always happiest when on the sofa! Good food followed by a little sweet something for dessert (ideally ice cream!) whilst watching a film is how I prefer to spend my evenings. Extra points for fresh pyjamas, a big blanket and a luxe candle burning in the background!
New Magnum Tubs are the ultimate chocolate indulgent treat. What’s your guilty pleasure?
Eek! Aside from a few strange food combinations and cake or ice cream for breakfast, I can’t help but indulge in a bit of reality TV and a chocolatey ice cream tub every now and then - sometimes it’s all you need to help switch off.
Where does the first spoonful of the new Chocolate Magnum Tub whisk you away to?
After that very satisfying crack of the chocolate, the flavours automatically remind me of a warm summer day after picking up an ice cream and picnicking. Only with a tub you have no fear of it melting over your hands, and all the chocolatey benefit. Yum!
