MAGNUM X WICKED TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. The Promoter: The Magnum Ice Cream Company. 3 St James Road, Kingston Upon Thames, United Kingdom, KT1 2BA. The Promoter is responsible for administering then competition and prize draw.

2. The Administrator: Element London Ltd. Registered in England No.7073848. Registered Office: 5 Morie Street, London, SW18 1SL. The Administrator is responsible for winner’s notification and for fulfilling the prizes.

3. Eligibility: This Promotion is open to GB (England, Wales and Scotland) residents aged 18 years or over who: (a) have a smartphone; (b) email address; (c) mobile number; and (d) internet access.

4. The following are not eligible to enter this Promotion: employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with this Promotion, including without limitation, advertising agencies, PR, prize suppliers and legal advisors. In these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse members of such employees or of anyone with whom such employees are domiciled.

5. Promotional Period: Opens at 00:00 BST on 6th of October 2025 and closes at 23:59 on 19th of December 2025. Entries received after these dates will not be valid and will be void.

6. 7. To complete the sign-up form, you must provide the following information: Full name; Email address; and Mobile number. Submit your entry by clicking the ‘Enter Now’ button to be in with a chance to win the Prize (details below) via a prize draw.

8. One entry per email address or mobile number only. If an entrant attempts to enter using multiple identities or submits entries with the same email address or mobile number more than once, they will be disqualified, and any prize won will be forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether an entrant has already submitted an entry and to disqualify any subsequent entries or prize entitlement.

9. No third party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties, consumer groups or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that either an entrant is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data; using multiple email addresses; using multiple postal addresses; acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter; using identities other than their own; creating fake identities or using any other automated or manual means in order to increase that entrant's or a household’s entries or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these entrants and their household will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.

10. Illegible, incorrect and/or incomplete Entries will not be accepted or eligible to win the prize(s). No responsibility can be accepted for Entries that are illegible, incorrect, incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.

11. We reserve the right to verify each winner and ask for proof of identity, age and address, and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions. We also reserve the right in our sole and reasonable discretion to disqualify any entrant who: (a) we have reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions; and/or (b) corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion; and/or (c) engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Promotion. We also reserve our legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.

12. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Universal. Entrants are providing information to the Promoter. Entrants release Universal for all claims and liabilities arising in respect of the promotion.

14. Prize is for 2 people.

15. The winners must travel at the same time with the same itinerary.

16. At least one traveller must be aged 21 or over; Anyone under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel.

17. Economy roundtrip flights from London Gatwick or London Heathrow (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties) to Newark Liberty International Airport or JFK International Airport; Flights may be indirect, and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion.

18. Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion.

19. A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation.

20. Accommodation based on 2 people sharing a double occupancy hotel room in New York City.

21. Accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion.

22. Accommodation does not include any meals (other than breakfast), incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the winner.

23. The prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package.

24. All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion.

25. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over. Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider.

26. All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time.

27. Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled.

28. Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available.

29. All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas, including ESTA or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests.

30. The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 4th January (Christmas and New Year), over public holidays in the departure or arrival country, or over Easter Sunday.

31. Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time.

32. E-Gift card for store of winner choice is provided to the value of $1,000 USD for winner only, additional terms relating to the gift card will vary and will be advised upon booking.

33. Spa experience includes 3-hour admission and 1x 25-minute massage per person.

34. Dinner at specified restaurant is provided to the value of $250 USD, including gratuity.

35, Broadway tickets are provided to the value of $200 USD per ticket; exact shows will vary by date and tickets are subject to availability.

36. If a visa is required for entry into United States of America, the Promoter is not responsible for the visa application process, issuance and/or use, which is solely under the control of the government of The United States. Any costs associated with the visa application are borne by the winner and their guest and are not reimbursed by the Promoter.

37. The winners and their guest will be solely responsible for all taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes they receive, regardless of whether it, in whole or in part, is used.

38. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. The winners and their guest must travel together, including travelling on the same flights/ground transport and staying in the same accommodation and possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable. No compensation or alternative travel plans will be arranged should the winners and/or their guest miss their outbound or return flights or fail to meet any check in requirements for any reason. These costs will be the sole responsibility and expense of the winners and their guest. A credit card may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges.

39. The Promoter will not be liable to winner or guest for any costs, damages, injuries or losses incurred by the winner or their guest as a result of travelling to or attending the trip.

40. Winner Selection and Notification The winner will be selected at random using a random name generator from valid entries received on or before the closing date. The Prize Draw will take place during the week commencing 5th January. The winner will be notified by a member of the Magnum team via email or phone (using the contact details provided upon entry) within 24 hours of the draw and will have 72 hours to confirm prize acceptance. If the winner does not respond to the initial email or telephone call within 72 hours, their prize will be forfeited and a reserve winner, selected at the same time as the initial winner, will be contacted. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.

 

41. Prize Fulfilment and Data Handling Once the winner has accepted the prize, they will be contacted by the Magnum team again to confirm prize details and receive an activation code. This code must be provided to the Administrator, which manages the prize fulfilment, Element London Ltd in order to claim the prize. For the purposes of prize fulfilment, the Administrator shall be considered the Data Controller and will be responsible for handling any personal data required to deliver the prize in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Administrator will be treated in accordance with Administrator’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/

42. The winner will be required to confirm their and their selected guest’: first name, last name, email address, passport details and any other necessary information for fulfilment purposes via the telephone call. Amongst others the winner must provide the Administrator with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure

43. The winners (and their guest) may be required to participate in publicity arising from this Promotion and may be filmed / photographed / interviewed by the Promoter or on our behalf during the trip. The winner grants us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage / photographs / testimonials in any media and through any media channel. In the event of such a request, a consent disclaimer would be provided.

44. The Competition and the Promoter's and Universal’s Meta and TikTok pages are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Meta and TikTok. By entering the Promotion, entrants release Meta and TikTok from all and any claims and liabilities which might arise in relation to the Promotion. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Meta and TikTok.

45. This promotion will be run by the Promoter and is not in any way administered by Instagram. By entering, you acknowledge that Instagram shall not have any liability to you in connection with the promotion.

46. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. In addition, by entering the competition, the entrants consent to the Promotor sharing the winners’ details with a third-party agency for the purpose of facilitating this promotion. The personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Controller’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://corporate.magnumicecream.com/en/notices/privacy/united-kingdom-english.html. 47. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment and in the event of an early cancellation or termination of this Promotion, the Promoter will select winner(s) from all valid and eligible Entries received prior to any such early cancellation or termination. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the Promoter.

48. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
